At sea with KISS, Dr. Ruth and Dan Rather

Have you ever been KISSed on a cruise? If not, this is your year. Fans of the iconic glamour rock group can join the band in October for the first KISS Kruise, from Miami to the Bahamas, on the Carnival Destiny.

On your next cruise, don’t drop your plate if you see a celebrity in the buffet line on the lido deck.

According to the Wall Street Journal, having a celeb onboard to mingle with guests and give a lecture or two is now a popular cruise ship amenity.

Big names that have sailed on various ships include sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer, newscaster Dan Rather, author Mary Higgins Clark and astronauts Buzz Aldrin and James Lovell.

This year, fans of the iconic (and sometimes frightening) rock group KISS can join the band in October for the first KISS Kruise, from Miami to the Bahamas, on the Carnival Destiny. Passengers are promised two KISS concerts (one with no make-up) and a variety of “krazy” on board activities and contests. Face painting, anyone?

MSC Cruises is going a bit more mainstream with several “Baseball Greats” sailings this fall. Each cruise will feature at least five noted baseball players, including former Yankee star Stan Bahnsen and American League homerun king Frank Howard. The sluggers will sign autographs, tell stories and give game pointers to guests.

In November, close to a dozen cast members from the 1970s TV show "Little House on the Prairie," which was based on the popular Laura Ingalls Wilder book, will sail from California to Mexico on the Carnival Splendor. That may sound like the epitome of “fish out of water,” but onboard activities will include autograph and Q&A sessions and a lecture on the legacy of Ingalls Wilder by "Prairie" actor Dean Butler.

In December, Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas, one of the world’s largest cruise ship, will host celebrity psychic Kelly Macleod.

But if you’re interested in that one, chances are you already knew about it.

Why am I not surprised there's a KISS Kruise? Well worth the price I imagine. Gene's a money-grubbing whore, but they do put on a good show.

Hey Kiss cruisers: do everyone else on earth a favor and throw the band members overboard. Overpaid degenerates.

There will be more hot girls on this cruise than any other cruise ever. Period. And they'll all be poolside at some point. Reason enough to go!

Gene is an incredibly intelligent business man, who you think came up with this idea, the cruise line or Gene?

Just because most projects he touches turns to gold, hes some kind of degenerate?  come on people find another way to deal with your own jealousy

Yeah, some 50+ year old "hot girls" who are barely old enough to know who they are (were?).
